Federal Funding to Strengthen Tourism Opportunities and Economy in North Thompson
Federal funding of more than $65,000 was announced by Cathy McLeod, Member of Parliament for Kamloops-Thompson-Cariboo on behalf of Western Economic Diversification to the Back Country Horsemen Society of British Columbia on December 12, 2008 in Barriere, BC. Funding for this announcement was provided under the Community Economic Diversification Initiative, a component of the federal Mountain Pine Beetle Program.
